Individual Coaching

Individual remote coaching is conducted through email, text, instant messaging, and phone, and assessment of TrainingPeaks files with further analysis using advanced, custom analytics in WKO5. But coaching is more than about just the numbers.

All coaching clients start with an in-depth discussion about personal goals, racing and training history, and time availability before completing a questionnaire that serves as the basis of your coach's notes to always stay goal-oriented.

Team coaching clients also start with in-depth discussion of team goals, culture, and what the coach's role will be. Special consideration is given to goal races, rides and activities to encourage new members based on team needs, and potential lectures given by the coach to the team in order to address any requested topics of interest.

Each training plan is developed around your needs and schedule, no matter how much or little time you have to train.  Plans are written each week and will be adjusted as often as needed to accommodate work, family life, or anything that may come up. You are never left wondering what the best course of action might be, it will be tackled right alongside your coach.

Discounted rates are available for juniors and students.

Consultations

​Coach Kolie has consulted with World Tour teams, world champions, national team coaches, physiologists, elite domestic professionals and amateurs, and others looking to improve their cycling performance.

Consultations are based on specific questions in training or the application of exercise physiology, or general program directions. These include any applicable literature or further reading suggestions. Questions may be, but are not limited to, how and why to best perform certain types of training, expected tradeoffs in a program, periodization, general nutrition strategies (no diet plans), unique race strategies based on athlete physiology and power data, strength and conditioning. File review is not always necessary but strongly encouraged, and integrated into the consultation. Seeing training and recovery habits, response to training,  workout executions, race or event review and breakdown, and the like.

These are done via phone or video chat, as expanding on topics as needed and I feel strongly that understanding the underlying training principles is the best way to get your money's worth. Consultations typically last 1-2 hours.
